About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and customer-focused Catering Coordinator to manage event logistics and client communications in Vereeniging. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their catering needs are understood and met with precision and excellence. You will work closely with the culinary team and event staff to plan and execute a variety of events, from intimate gatherings to larger functions.

• Liaise directly with clients to understand their event requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.
• Develop customized menus and service proposals based on client consultations.
• Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including staffing, equipment, venue setup, and timelines.
• Manage booking schedules and ensure accurate record-keeping of all client interactions and event details.
• Communicate effectively with the culinary team and service staff to ensure seamless event execution.
• Handle client inquiries, address concerns, and ensure overall client satisfaction throughout the event process.

• Proven experience in event coordination, catering management, or a similar client-facing role.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using scheduling software and standard office applications.
