You'll manage a substantial debtors book across multiple till points, with a strong focus on cash flow, compliance, and team leadership; retail experience is essential.
Core Criteria- 5 years' experience managing a debtors book of 200+ customers
- Proven team management experience
- Advanced Excel and spreadsheet skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Retail experience, with the ability to coordinate invoices across multiple points of sale
- Oversee and drive the full billing and credit control process
- Maintain the debtors database, including term codes and banking detail accuracy
- Trace and resolve queries from point of sale through to accounting software
- Compile monthly reports and manage month-end procedures
- Monitor customer compliance against contract terms; action non-compliance
- Provide weekly cash flow projections
- Authorise credit notes and balance account reconciliations
- Manage daily sales entries, cashier floats, and change bags
- Maintain records of all debtor correspondence
- Market-related salary, based on experience
