About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Project Manager specializing in operational improvements to join their team in Klerksdorp. This role will focus on enhancing efficiency, streamlining processes, and implementing strategic initiatives that drive operational excellence across the organization. You will work closely with operational teams, management, and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, define project scope, and ensure successful implementation of changes.
This is a key position for an individual passionate about operational efficiency and continuous improvement within the North West province.
- Lead the planning and execution of projects aimed at optimizing operational processes and improving efficiency.
- Analyze current operational procedures, identify bottlenecks, and propose innovative solutions for enhancement.
- Develop detailed project plans, including objectives, scope, timelines, resource requirements, and budgets for operational initiatives.
- Collaborate with department heads and operational staff to ensure smooth implementation and adoption of new processes.
- Monitor project performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on project outcomes and benefits realized.
- Manage risks associated with process changes and ensure minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on operations or process improvement.
- Proven ability to analyze complex operational challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
