About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical Operations Excellence Manager to join their team in Nelspruit . This critical role focuses on identifying and implementing improvements across all operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate service quality. You will be responsible for driving a culture of continuous improvement, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize workflows and operational strategies within the Mpumalanga region.

The ideal candidate is a strategic problem-solver with a deep understanding of operational methodologies and a passion for achieving peak performance in a business-critical function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze current operational processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for operational excellence, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Create and maintain operational performance metrics and dashboards to track progress.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in implementing process improvements and change management initiatives.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices for operational efficiency.
  • Ensure operational processes comply with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in operations management or process improvement roles.
  • Proven track record of implementing successful operational improvement projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
