Overview

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Superintendent for a mining company. As a Senior Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all field operations and activities on construction projects.

Responsibilities:

Direct and supervise construction activities to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.

Coordinate subcontractor and vendor activities, including contract management and negotiations.

Manage and mitigate risks on the project site to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

Prepare and review project schedules, progress reports, and cost estimates.

Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.

Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction, including changes in scope or unforeseen site conditions.

Maintain effective communication and collaboration with project team members, clients, and stakeholders.

Provide leadership and mentorship to junior construction personnel.

Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managing construction projects, preferably in the mining industry.

Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team.

Experience in planning and organizing construction activities, including the management of resources and subcontractors.

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
