Site Supervisor

Job Purpose

To oversee and manage daily site operations, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards and project requirements.

• Supervise employees and subcontractors on-site.
• Ensure daily operations run smoothly and according to schedule.
• Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Enforce health and safety regulations on-site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential risks or issues.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and workforce requirements.
• Report site progress, incidents, and delays to management.
• Ensure staff attendance, discipline, and productivity are maintained.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors where necessary.
• Resolve operational problems and escape major issues to management.

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in a supervisory or site-based role.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage teams effectively.
• Valid driver’s licence advantageous.
• Computer literacy will be beneficial.
