About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Construction Manager to oversee a portfolio of vital civil engineering projects in the Vereeniging . This leadership role is responsible for the successful execution of construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage site operations, coordinate various contractors, and maintain strong relationships with clients and regulatory bodies.

- Manage all aspects of on-site construction activities for civil engineering projects.
- Develop and implement detailed construction schedules and phasing plans.

- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage project budgets, including cost control, change orders, and financial reporting.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings with all relevant parties.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a significant focus on civil infrastructure projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
