About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations on various construction sites in Benoni . You will be responsible for managing the workforce, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards, and maintaining a safe working environment. This role requires a practical, hands-on approach with strong leadership skills to guide construction crews and subcontractors effectively.
The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality construction work safely and efficiently, contributing to the company's reputation for excellence.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors on site.
- Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with project plans, specifications, and building codes.
- Implement and enforce strict health and safety regulations and procedures on site.
- Monitor work progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Maintain daily site logs, recording progress, manpower, materials used, and any incidents.
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment on site.
- Proven experience as a Construction Site Supervisor, Foreman, or similar role.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A relevant trade qualification or certification in construction supervision is advantageous.
