Construction Foreman

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Construction Foreman to lead and supervise work crews on various construction projects in Vereeniging . You will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role demands strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate a team to achieve project goals.

You will play a crucial role in the daily execution of construction work, coordinating tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the construction site.

• Direct and supervise daily activities of construction crews, including skilled trades and general labor.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Manage material and equipment on site, ensuring adequate availability and proper usage.
• Monitor work progress and provide regular updates to the site supervisor or project manager.
• Implement and enforce company safety policies and procedures, conducting daily safety briefings.
• Troubleshoot site issues and work collaboratively with the team to find effective solutions.

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
