Construction Manager - Civil Works

About the Role

Our client is seeking a results-oriented Construction Manager to oversee civil works projects in Vereeniging . This position is crucial for ensuring the successful execution of construction activities, from site preparation through to project completion. You will be responsible for managing site operations, coordinating contractors, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining project schedules and budgets. • Plan, organize, and supervise all on-site construction activities for civil engineering projects.
• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
• Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring quality of work and adherence to contracts.
• Implement and enforce strict health and safety regulations on site.
• Manage site resources, including equipment, materials, and labor.

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction management, specifically in civil works.

• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
