Civil Site Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive Civil Site Engineer to oversee construction activities for various infrastructure projects in and around Klerksdorp . This role requires a hands-on approach, focusing on ensuring that construction work is executed according to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols. You will be the primary point of contact on-site, managing resources, coordinating subcontractors, and solving practical construction challenges.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented engineer to gain valuable site experience in the North West province.

• Supervise and manage day-to-day on-site construction activities for civil engineering projects.
• Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies on site.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the design team to resolve site issues promptly.
• Conduct site inspections, progress monitoring, and prepare daily/weekly site reports.
• Manage site resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction site supervision.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant building regulations.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations on construction sites.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
