About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Civil Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of exciting infrastructure projects in the Benoni area. This hybrid role combines strategic planning and oversight with the need for occasional on-site presence, ensuring successful project delivery from inception to completion. You will be responsible for managing project scope, budgets, timelines, and resources, while fostering strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

This position is ideal for a results-driven leader with a proven track record in managing complex civil engineering endeavors.

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of civil engineering projects.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Oversee contract administration, procurement, and quality control processes.
• Manage stakeholder communication, ensuring timely updates and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Mitigate project risks and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) or PMP certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil project management.
• Proven experience in managing projects related to infrastructure, construction, or development.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, contract law, and construction practices.
