Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure

About the Role

Our client is looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager with a specialization in infrastructure projects to join their team in Klerksdorp . This role will involve leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of critical infrastructure development projects. You will be responsible for managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources, while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This is a key position that requires strong leadership, technical acumen, and the ability to navigate complex challenges in a dynamic environment, contributing to the development of essential services in the North West province.

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of infrastructure projects, from initial feasibility studies to final handover.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective communication throughout the project duration.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and project progress reviews.

• A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in Project Management , with a significant focus on infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction or infrastructure development projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant professional qualification such as a PMP or professional engineering designation is required.
