About the Role

Our client seeks a dedicated Construction Engineer to oversee the execution of civil engineering projects in the Vereeniging area. This role demands strong on-site presence and leadership, ensuring that construction activities adhere strictly to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations. You will be responsible for coordinating site operations, managing resources, and ensuring the quality and timely completion of construction works. This is a hands-on role integral to the successful delivery of infrastructure development.

You will work closely with site teams, contractors, and project management to achieve project objectives.

• Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities for civil engineering projects.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the design team to resolve site issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
• Manage site logistics, equipment, and personnel effectively.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for project management.

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction site supervision and management.
• Proven experience in managing civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
