About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and analytical Lead Construction Estimator to join their remote-based team, driving the bid and tender process for upcoming projects. You will collaborate with a dispersed team of professionals, including project managers, engineers, and procurement specialists, leveraging digital tools to analyze blueprints, specifications, and market data.

- Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for a wide range of construction projects.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other tender documents to determine scope and requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., design, procurement, project management) to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
- Quantify materials, labour, and equipment costs, and obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Develop and present comprehensive bid packages to clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain a database of historical cost data and market trends to improve estimation accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction estimating.
- Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Plan Swift, Bluebeam, CostX) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market pricing.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
