Construction Foreman - Civil Works

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Foreman to lead civil works crews in the Vereeniging area. This hands-on role requires a leader who can effectively manage a team, ensure high-quality workmanship, and maintain a safe work environment on site. You will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of civil engineering projects, including earthworks, foundations, and infrastructure development. • Supervise and direct daily activities of civil construction crews.
• Ensure all work is performed according to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Operate construction equipment safely and efficiently, or oversee operators.
• Manage the efficient use of materials and labor on site to control costs and minimize waste.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce adherence to all safety regulations.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and project managers to report progress and address any issues.

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or in a supervisory role within civil works.
• Solid understanding of civil construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Commitment to upholding stringent safety standards on site.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to work extended hours when required.
