About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and hands‑on Site Engineer to manage and oversee construction activities on various projects in Nelspruit. This role is essential for ensuring that construction progresses according to design specifications, schedules, and safety standards. You will be the primary technical point of contact on site, coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and the design team to resolve issues and ensure high‑quality workmanship.

- Supervise and direct daily construction operations, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols on the construction site.

- Manage site logistics, including material procurement, equipment deployment, and workforce coordination.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, providing guidance to construction crews and resolving site queries.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for project management.
- Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar construction supervision role.
- Proven experience in managing on‑site construction activities for building or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
