Civil Site Engineer - Construction Management

About the Role Our client, a reputable construction firm, is seeking a diligent and hands-on Civil Site Engineer to oversee construction activities on various projects in and around Vereeniging, Gauteng . This role is integral to ensuring that construction projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for interpreting engineering plans, supervising site operations, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with all technical specifications and safety regulations.

• Supervise and manage all on-site civil engineering construction activities.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide construction work.

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering construction, with a significant portion in a site-based role.
• Proven experience in supervising construction activities for infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, earthworks, drainage).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding site environment.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with various parties.
