Senior Site Manager

Our client, a dynamic and rapidly expanding force in the construction industry, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee and direct construction activities on-site in Klerksdorp . This critical role requires a seasoned professional with a robust understanding of construction operations, project management, and team leadership. Coordinate and manage all site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project flow. Implement and enforce stringent health and safety regulations on site, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments. Monitor project progress against the established schedule and budget, identifying and addressing any deviations promptly.

Ensure the quality of workmanship meets or exceeds project standards and client expectations. Manage site logistics, including the delivery of materials, equipment, and personnel. Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, progress photos, and safety documentation. Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to provide updates and resolve site-specific issues. Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and efficiency among the site workforce.

A relevant qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. A minimum of 10 years of experience in site management within the construction sector, with a significant track record of successful project delivery. Proven experience in managing large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in project management software and construction scheduling tools. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control project costs effectively.
