Senior Construction Foreman

Our client, a highly reputable firm within the construction industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Construction Foreman to oversee operations at various project sites in and around Klerksdorp, North West . This is a hands-on, on-site role demanding strong leadership and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. As a Senior Foreman, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of all site activities, ensuring that work is carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

You will lead and direct a team of skilled tradespeople and laborers, ensuring optimal productivity and adherence to project schedules and specifications. • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of construction crews on site.

• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce strict safety protocols on the construction site.
• Inspect work quality regularly and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to environmental standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
• Report on site progress, issues, and resource needs to the Project Manager.
• Collaborate with site engineers and other professionals to resolve technical challenges.
• Ensure timely completion of tasks and projects according to the established schedule.

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or similar supervisory role.
• A strong understanding of building trades, construction methods, and materials.
• Experience in supervising teams of varying sizes and skill levels.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to site management.
• Must be physically fit and capable of working in demanding site conditions.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the vicinity of Klerksdorp, North West .
• A relevant trade qualification or certification is advantageous.
