Post-Production Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Post-Production Supervisor to oversee all aspects of the post-production process for their film and television projects in Vereeniging . This crucial role ensures that projects move smoothly from editing through to final delivery, managing timelines, resources, and workflows for editorial, visual effects, sound mixing, and color grading. You will be the key liaison between the creative team and post-production vendors, ensuring that the project's creative vision is maintained and that deliverables meet the highest technical standards.

• Manage and schedule all post-production activities, including editing, VFX, sound design, and color correction.
• Coordinate with editors, sound mixers, colorists, and VFX artists to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery.
• Oversee the ingest and organization of footage and assets, maintaining robust file management systems.
• Liaise with external post-production facilities, negotiating rates and managing budgets effectively.
• Ensure all deliverables meet technical specifications for broadcast, streaming, or theatrical release.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or logistical issues that arise during the post-production phase.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in post-production supervision or management within the film/TV industry.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to strict deadlines and budgets.
• Strong understanding of the entire post-production pipeline, including editing software (e.g., Avid, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), color grading tools, and sound mixing workflows.
• Experience with VFX pipelines and deliverables is essential.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
