Sound Designer - Audio Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Sound Designer and Audio Engineer to contribute to their latest projects in the arts and entertainment industry. This role involves creating immersive audio experiences, from designing sound effects and ambient soundscapes to mixing and mastering final audio tracks. You will work collaboratively with the production team to enhance the emotional impact and realism of their content.

• Design, record, and implement sound effects, foley, and ambient soundscapes to enhance the user experience.
• Mix and master audio elements to ensure clarity, balance, and adherence to project specifications.
• Collaborate with game developers, filmmakers, and other creatives to define and achieve the desired audio aesthetic.
• Operate and maintain audio recording equipment and software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve audio-related technical issues during production and post-production.
• Stay current with advancements in audio technology and sound design techniques relevant to the entertainment industry.

• Proven experience as a Sound Designer or Audio Engineer in the gaming, film, or broadcast industries.
• Proficiency with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, or Cubase.
• Experience in sound editing, mixing, and mastering, including familiarity with various audio plugins and effects.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of sound design and audio engineering work.
• Excellent understanding of acoustics, signal processing, and audio hardware.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under project deadlines.
