About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Sound Engineer to join their dynamic team in Klerksdorp , contributing to the technical excellence of productions within the Arts & Entertainment sector. • Set up, operate, and maintain sound systems for live performances, recordings, and broadcasts.
• Mix audio during live events, ensuring clarity, balance, and appropriate levels for all sound sources.
• Record, edit, and master audio tracks for various multimedia projects, including podcasts and video productions.
• Collaborate with artists and production teams to achieve specific sound design requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to audio equipment and systems.

• Proven experience as a Sound Engineer with a strong portfolio of audio work.
• Proficiency with professional audio consoles, mixing boards, microphones, and related equipment.
• Experience with digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live.
• Knowledge of acoustics, signal flow, and audio principles relevant to the Arts & Entertainment industry.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing technical demands in a live environment.
