ROLE DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for an experienced Part-Time Senior Copywriter to join our creative team on a flexible, project-based basis.
The ideal candidate is an experienced copywriter with a strong portfolio and proven ability to develop creative concepts, write compelling copy, and adapt their writing style across different brands, audiences, platforms, and campaigns.
This role is suited to a senior-level creative who can work independently, manage deadlines, and bring a strong conceptual approach to their work. While the role is primarily part-time and flexible, the successful candidate will be required to work from the WBWR studio when needed
, particularly for creative sessions, briefings, workshops, team collaboration, client-related work, or other projects where in-person collaboration is required.
The successful candidate will work closely with the creative, account, strategy, and content teams to develop high-quality copy that is aligned with each client's brand identity and objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop creative concepts and campaign ideas across digital platforms.
- Write compelling, engaging, and strategically sound copy for a variety of brands and audiences.
- Develop copy for websites, e-commerce platforms, social media, digital campaigns, email marketing, paid media, and other digital channels.
- Translate creative briefs and business objectives into strong conceptual ideas and copy.
- Develop campaign messaging, headlines, taglines, hooks, CTAs, product copy, and supporting content.
- Adapt tone of voice and writing style according to different brands, audiences, and communication objectives.
- Conduct research to understand brands, products, audiences, competitors, and relevant market trends.
- Work closely with designers and other creative team members to ensure copy and visual concepts work together effectively.
- Collaborate with Account Managers, Strategists, Designers, and other internal stakeholders.
- Review, edit, and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, clarity, and quality.
- Take creative feedback constructively and refine work based on feedback.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a consistently high standard of work.
- Contribute ideas during creative brainstorms, workshops, and team sessions.
- Maintain consistency with client brand guidelines and established tone of voice.
- Stay up to date with digital, social media, advertising, e-commerce, and content trends.
- Be available to attend the WBWR studio when required for team collaboration, creative sessions, meetings, or project needs.
- 5+ years of professional copywriting experience
, or equivalent demonstrated experience. - A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality copywriting and conceptual work is essential.
- Proven experience developing creative concepts and campaign ideas.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, content, and brand communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional grammar, spelling, editing, and proofreading abilities.
- Strong research, storytelling, and conceptual thinking skills.
- Ability to understand and work within different brand voices.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
