About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and creative Residential Architect to join their esteemed practice in Benoni . This role focuses specifically on the design and development of high-quality residential projects, from custom homes to multi-unit developments. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and translate it into functional, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable living spaces. Key Responsibilities- Lead the design process for residential projects, from concept development to final construction documentation.
- Engage with clients to define project requirements, preferences, and budgets.
- Prepare detailed architectural plans, elevations, sections, and interior layouts.
- Ensure designs comply with local building regulations, zoning ordinances, and energy efficiency standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and interior designers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Select appropriate materials and finishes to enhance design aesthetics and functionality.
- Registered Architect (PrArch) with SACAP or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering a range of residential projects.
- Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit) and 2D CAD software.
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and materials.
- Excellent client management and communication skills.
- A portfolio showcasing successful residential architectural designs is essential.
