BIM Coordinator; Architecture

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to enhance their architectural workflow in Vereeniging . This role is critical for implementing and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across projects, ensuring seamless collaboration between design and construction teams. You will be responsible for developing BIM standards, training staff, and overseeing the creation and management of BIM models. This position is key to driving efficiency and innovation in architectural design and delivery within the Gauteng region.

• Develop and implement BIM standards , protocols, and workflows for architectural projects.
• Coordinate and manage BIM models from consultants and project teams.
• Conduct clash detection and ensure model integrity and accuracy.
• Provide training and support to architects and technicians on BIM software and best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure BIM objectives are met.

• Relevant qualification in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or BIM Manager.
• Expertise in Revit and a strong understanding of other BIM-related software.
• Knowledge of industry BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
