Senior Project Architect

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Architect to lead significant architectural projects in Nelspruit . This pivotal role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initial client consultation and design development through to construction administration and project close-out. You will be responsible for managing project teams, ensuring design quality, and maintaining strong client relationships. This position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to major developments within the Mpumalanga province, working within a well-established architectural practice.

• Lead and manage multiple architectural projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery.
• Liaise directly with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates.
• Oversee the preparation of detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Manage construction administration, including site inspections, contractor coordination, and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and client objectives.
• Mentor junior architectural staff and foster a collaborative team environment.

• Registered as a Professional Architect with SACAP.
• A minimum of 9 years of experience in architectural practice, with a strong focus on project management.
• Proven expertise in Revit and other relevant architectural design software.
• Thorough understanding of construction processes, materials, and contract administration.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
