Residential Design Architect

Our client is seeking a passionate and creative Residential Design Architect to lead the design of bespoke homes in Nelspruit . This role involves working closely with clients to understand their lifestyle and vision, translating these into unique, functional, and aesthetically pleasing residential spaces. You will manage the design process from concept through to detailed construction documentation, ensuring high-quality outcomes for custom-built homes and residential developments in the scenic Mpumalanga region.

• Engage with clients to define project requirements, vision, and design preferences for residential projects.
• Develop innovative and aesthetically superior design concepts for custom homes and renovations.
• Produce detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D models.
• Coordinate with structural engineers and other consultants to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Prepare specifications for materials, finishes, and fixtures, ensuring quality and durability.
• Oversee the construction documentation phase and provide support during construction as needed.

• Professional degree in Architecture.
• 3-5 years of experience specifically in residential design.
• Proficiency in Revit , AutoCAD, and rendering software (e.g., Lumion, V-Ray).
• Strong understanding of residential building codes and construction best practices.
• Excellent client communication and relationship management skills.
• A portfolio demonstrating successful high-end residential projects in or around Nelspruit.
