• Develop and execute architectural designs for large-scale urban development projects, ensuring compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and client specifications.
• Lead and mentor junior architectural staff, providing guidance on design principles, technical detailing, and project management.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents using industry-standard software.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design intent.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
• Research and implement innovative building materials, technologies, and sustainable design strategies.
• Present design concepts and project proposals to clients and stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.

• A professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in urban development projects.
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• In-depth knowledge of South African building regulations, construction methods, and materials.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage teams and client relationships effectively.
• Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and practices.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Registration with the South African Institute of Architects (SAIA) or relevant professional body is highly desirable.
• Experience in the Nelspruit, Mpumalanga region is a plus.
