Architectural Drafter - Commercial Fit-outs

Our client, a dynamic architectural and interior design firm, is seeking a skilled Architectural Drafter to join their team in Klerksdorp, North West
. This role is essential for supporting the design team by producing accurate and detailed technical drawings for commercial fit‑out projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of CAD software and a meticulous approach to documentation. You will work closely with architects and designers to translate concepts into construction‑ready plans, ensuring all details align with project specifications and building codes.

• Produce detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details, using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documentation packages for commercial fit‑out projects.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of drawings according to project requirements and firm standards.
• Coordinate with project teams to incorporate design revisions and technical updates.
• Prepare drawings for client presentations and regulatory submissions.
• Maintain organized digital drawing files and project archives.
• Support site visits by preparing necessary documentation and recording site information.
• Collaborate with consultants to ensure integration of services within the drawings.
• Assist in the preparation of Bills of Quantities and material schedules.

• Certificate or Diploma in Architectural Drafting, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as an Architectural Drafter.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience with Revit or other 3D modeling software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of architectural drafting conventions and symbols.
• Familiarity with building codes and construction practices, particularly for commercial interiors.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills.
• Residency in or near Klerksdorp is preferred.
