Overview
NHS Grampian is looking to attract a full time Maxillofacial Consultant with an interest in Head and Neck Oncology / Reconstructive surgery to join the established department based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI). Applicants should have a wide knowledge of and experience in all major branches of the specialty. They will be expected to play a key role in the further development of the Head and Neck Oncology service and work in a team approach and in close collaboration with other specialties.
This is to provide a comprehensive service within a multidisciplinary environment.
Applicants are required to be fully registered with a licence to practise with the General Medical Council (licence to practise must be in place prior to starting in post). Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from date of interview or eligibility for specialist registration (CESR).
Applicants should also be fully registered with the General Dental Council.
The University of Aberdeen will accord the honorary status of Clinical Senior Lecturer to the successful candidates.
