Position: Junior B737 / A320 Simulator Flight Instructor
Location: Kempton Park
Junior B737 / A320 Simulator Flight Instructor

We are seeking a motivated Junior Simulator Flight Instructor to support the Pilot Training Department. Working under the supervision of the Chief Flight Instructor and senior instructors, you will deliver simulator and ground instruction for B737 and A320 pilots, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct simulator and ground school training sessions for B737/A320 students according to standardized syllabi
  • Develop and deliver scenario-based training exercises
  • Prepare for training sessions, including lesson planning and simulator setup
  • Brief and debrief students, providing constructive feedback and documenting performance
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, recommending advancement where appropriate
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aircraft systems, procedures, and simulation technology
  • Assist with simulator troubleshooting and coordinate with technical support
  • Stay informed on current aviation regulations and operational procedures
  • Support senior instructors and participate in ongoing professional development programs

Requirements
  • Twin & Instrument Instructor experience, with a minimum of 1,000 hours total instruction
  • Turbine/Jet Rating is an advantage but not required
  • Previous simulation instructional experience is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and flight principles
  • Excellent communication (English) and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in briefing, debriefing, and performance evaluation techniques
Working Conditions
  • Predominantly simulator and classroom environment
  • Some administrative and student management responsibilities
