We are seeking a proactive teacher ready to take on the responsibility of planning and delivering high‑quality, differentiated education within a Special School setting.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
• Proven experience or strong training emphasis in Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Knowledge and experience teaching pupils with a wide range of special educational needs, including:
• Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
• Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
• Profound and Multiple Needs (PMLD)
• Autism (ASC/ASD)

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to design and implement differentiated learning plans for diverse needs.
• Patience, empathy, and genuine commitment to student progress.
• Ability to work collaboratively with TAs and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive approach and adaptability to changing educational environments.
• Strong understanding of behavioural support strategies and positive reinforcement.
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.

This is a large, established special school in Slough serving 370 pupils across the 2‑19 age range.
