POST: Lecturer:
English FAL and Life Skills and Computer Literacy
SALARY: R plus 37% in lieu of benefits
DURATION: 2 Months Fixed Term Contract
: TNC/RC/25 – 01/8
RequirementsNational Senior Certificate / Grade 12 plus an appropriate Degree / Diploma in Education; A minimum of 0 to 2 (0-2) years working experience in a TVET sector education institution, of which at least an exposure to teach computer;
Must be registered with SACE;
Computer Literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook) and Must also be in possession of a valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to relate to the students in a professional manner and promote a conducive teaching and learning environment.
- Ability to monitor students’ performances and provide feedback in an objective and professional manner.
- Ensure the effective implementation of strategic policies, procedures, operational and project plans as approved by the College Council and Department of Higher Education and Training.
- Guide, support, monitor and assess the performance of all staff members at campus.
- Execute all Human Resource Operations in line manager capacity including staff attendance, performance management, inductions at campus level.
- Monitoring students, attendance records, administration, performance assessment, discipline and placement, manage and account on all academic processes of the campus.
- Adhere to Policies/Guidelines that govern curriculum delivery and assessments at TVET sector.
- Understanding of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation in the context of teaching and learning.
- Experience in curriculum delivery and conduct of assessments.
- Managing curricula implementation and assessments, resources, student welfare, support, and student achievements.
- Experience in managing students class attendance.
- Understanding of personnel development, coaching, and mentoring.
