Tutor, Teaching & Admin Assistant

We are a well established reading/extra classes school and we are based in Ballito, KZN.

We are looking for a caring, confident, and well‑organised individual to join our team. This role involves working closely with children in a structured learning environment while also supporting the day-to-day running of the centre.

The ideal candidate is proactive, responsible, takes initiative, and has a genuine passion for working with children.

Full-time position
Monday to Friday
Working hours will be discussed during the interview process (some days will be shorter than others).

• Assist during lessons and support children in an engaging and encouraging manner
• Help maintain a positive, structured, and nurturing environment
• Support the daily running and organization of the centrum
• Assist with scheduling, communication, and basic administration
• Take initiative and assist wherever needed

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Strong English reading and writing skills
• Warm, patient, and caring nature
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility
• Genuine love for working with children
• Previous experience working with children is advantageous

• Qualified teacher or currently studying towards a teaching qualification
• Reliable, responsible, and eager to grow professionally
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist
• Available to start as soon as possible

Training will be provided, with the opportunity to grow into a more independent, lesson-based role over time.

Salary will be discussed based on experience and qualifications.
