The School of Science and Technology Maidstone (SST) is an outstanding school with state‑of‑the‑art facilities, opened in 2020 and heavily oversubscribed within the local community.

In January 2023 SST was inspected by Ofsted and was graded OUTSTANDING in all categories. Our first public examinations in 2025 produced outcomes that were amongst the very best non‑selective schools in Kent.

The school is entering a crucial growth phase, reaching full student and staff complement in September 2026 with the first cohort progressing to Year 13.
