Responsible To: Director TTI
Location: Thaba Tseka Technical Training Institute (TTI)

Under the general supervision of the Director TTI, the incumbent is responsible for the smooth running of the female students’ hostel and ensuring the welfare, safety, and discipline of students residing on campus.

• Maintain records of all students residing in the hostel.
• Grant permission for students to leave campus where appropriate.
• Conduct inspections and nightly rounds.
• Monitor students’ health and welfare.
• Ensure cleanliness of the hostel and surrounding environment.
• Supervise student entertainment activities.
• Prevent unauthorised access to hostel facilities.
• Liaise with SRC, prefects, monitors, and administration on student welfare.
• Supervise preparation and serving of meals.
• Provide counselling and guidance to students.
• Advise management on matters relating to hostel discipline and expulsion.

Certificate in Home Consumer Science/Home Economics OR COSC plus experience as a Matron will be an added advantage.
