2026 Vacation Students

purpose of the job: to provide students with the opportunity to obtain relevant work exposure.

minimum qualifications and requirements:

• only impala platinum refineries / head office / biisemployees' children may apply (child must be registered on sap).
• be a full–time student at a recognised tertiary institution.
• first year of tertiary studies must be completed in 2026 (nqf level 5 and above).
• applicants will be subjected to a medical examination.

benefits:

• vacation students will be temporarily employed during the december / january holidays.
• placement will be relevant to the student's studies (where possible) to ensure that the student benefits from the work experience.

application requirements:

• completed vacation work application form (see attached) with clear copies of:
• short cv
• certified copy of
• proof of studies (i.e., statement of results)
• proof of banking details (letter from bank with bank stamp)
• proof of sars registration number.
• internal applicants
  : your manager / supervisor must be aware of your application.
• shortlisted candidates may be subject to psychometric assessments - impala platinum ltd reserves the right not to make an appointment.
• in the event that you do not hear from the human resources department within 30 days after the closing date of applications, your application can be viewed as unsuccessful.
