Our new School on the Mahikeng Campus - The School for Applied Business Analytics and Decision Making in the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences is looking for an ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR in Statistics/Business Statistics.

POSITION: ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (STATISTICS)

PEROMNES GRADE: A6

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:

PERMANENT APPOINTMENT

An associate professor is expected to contribute to the teaching effort of the institution's teaching efforts and to carry out activities to maintain and develop their professional practice within the relevant discipline.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A PhD (NQF level 10) in Statistics.
A minimum of 8 years' lecturing experience at a tertiary institution.
At least five (5) research publications in accredited journals.
Supervision of at least three (3) master's and a PhD student to completion.
Knowledge of Statistical Software (SPSS, R-Studio, Python and Stata).
