Educator - Gr 4 SGB Post

Parkhurst Primary School is seeking an experienced and dedicated educator who is passionate about Mathematics to join our Intersen Phase team. The successful candidate will bring energy, subject expertise and a genuine commitment to learner development, and will be comfortable teaching across a combination of Mathematics, Geography, Life Orientation, PSWB and Physical Education.

This post is a temporary position for the period 1 October 2026 – 31 December 2026, with the possibility of renewal for the 2027 academic year, subject to the operational needs of the school and SGB approval.

• Grade 7 Mathematics
• Grade 7 Geography
• Grade 7 Life Orientation
• Grade 6 Personal and Social Well-Being and Physical Education

• A recognised four (4)-year teaching degree
• Permanent SACE (South African Council for Educators) registration
• Proven teaching experience in the Intersen Phase (Grades 4–9), with a strong grounding in Mathematics
• Sound subject knowledge, classroom management ability, and a collaborative, learner-centred approach
