• Deliver the Life Orientation curriculum effectively, covering topics such as career guidance, personal development, health, and social issues.
• Facilitate discussions and activities that promote critical thinking, self-reflection, and responsible decision-making.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental classroom environment for students to express themselves.
• Assess student understanding and engagement through various methods, including assignments, projects, and class participation.
• Provide guidance and support to students on personal challenges and future planning.
• Collaborate with school counselors and other support staff to address student needs holistically.

• A relevant degree or teaching qualification, with a specialization or significant experience in Life Orientation.
• Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience at the secondary school level.
• Strong understanding of adolescent psychology and developmental needs.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive topics with maturity and empathy.
