Preschool Teacher - Childcare Center

About the Role

Our client is seeking a nurturing and experienced Preschool Teacher to join their vibrant childcare center in Klerksdorp . You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging educational programs designed to stimulate the cognitive, social, and emotional development of young children. This role requires a blend of in-center teaching and potential remote administrative or planning duties, offering a flexible approach to early childhood education.

The ideal candidate is passionate about creating a positive and educational experience for preschoolers and fostering strong relationships with families in the North West province.

• Create and implement a developmentally appropriate preschool curriculum that fosters learning and creativity.
• Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their developmental milestones and needs.
• Manage classroom activities, ensuring a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and classroom activities.
• Prepare engaging learning materials and classroom resources, both physical and digital.
• Potentially assist with remote planning or communication tasks as needed by management.

• A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Previous experience as a preschool teacher or in a similar childcare role.
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
