About the Role
Our client is seeking a passionate and qualified Early Childhood Development Educator to join their learning center in Benoni . This role is dedicated to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can develop holistically – cognitively, socially, emotionally, and physically. You will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate educational programs, observing children's progress, and communicating effectively with parents and guardians.
This is a rewarding opportunity to shape the foundational learning experiences of children in the Gauteng province and contribute to their lifelong love of learning.
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning activities aligned with the curriculum.
- Observe and assess children's development, documenting progress and identifying individual needs.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes exploration and discovery.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding their child's development and well-being.
- Manage classroom routines, transitions, and behavior effectively.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and high-quality early learning program.
- Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Development (e.g., NQF Level 4/5).
- Proven experience working with young children (birth to 5 years).
- In-depth knowledge of child development principles and pedagogical approaches.
- Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a warm and nurturing demeanor.
- First Aid certification is required.
