About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Early Childhood Educator specializing in toddler development to join their respected institution in Klerksdorp. This role focuses on providing a nurturing and stimulating environment tailored to the unique needs of toddlers, fostering their rapid growth in all developmental domains. You will be responsible for creating enriching experiences that encourage exploration, social interaction, and early learning, working collaboratively with parents and colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and education for our youngest learners in a supportive setting.

• Design and implement age-appropriate activities focusing on sensory exploration, language development, and social skills for toddlers.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that promotes positive experiences and well-being.
• Observe and document children's developmental progress, communicating effectively with parents about their child's journey.
• Manage daily routines, including feeding, diapering, naps, and hygiene, with sensitivity to individual needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where each child feels valued, secure, and encouraged to explore.

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Development or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience working specifically with toddlers aged 1-3 years.
• Strong understanding of toddler developmental milestones and best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and parents.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is essential.
