The School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences is recruiting an Associate Professor to contribute to teaching, research, postgraduate supervision and academic leadership in Mathematical Statistics or a closely related discipline.## Responsibilities.
* Conduct and publish high-quality research in Mathematical Statistics or a closely related discipline.
* Teach undergraduate and postgraduate statistics modules and coordinate large class groups where required.
* Supervise honours, master’s and doctoral students and contribute to academic administration and mentoring.## Key requirements.
* A PhD in Mathematical Statistics (NQF level 10).
* At least five years of relevant teaching and research experience with a proven publication record.
* At least five years of experience supervising master’s and doctoral students to completion and administering large class groups.
