Early Years Educator

About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and qualified Early Years Educator to join their vibrant team in Vereeniging . This role is central to providing a stimulating and nurturing environment for young children, focusing on fostering their holistic development through play-based learning. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging activities, observing and documenting children's progress, and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning space.

• Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based learning activities for children aged 2-5.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, maintaining accurate developmental records.
• Ensure a safe, hygienic, and stimulating learning environment for all children.
• Build positive and collaborative relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child's development and activities.
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Experience working with young children in a formal childcare setting.
• In-depth knowledge of the early years curriculum and pedagogical approaches.
• Strong understanding of child development principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
