Capacity Building Facilitator

Our client, a development-focused charity operating in the Nelspruit area, is seeking an experienced Capacity Building Facilitator to empower local organizations and community groups. You will design and deliver tailored training programs that enhance the skills and effectiveness of individuals and teams, enabling them to achieve their goals more efficiently. This role requires a skilled communicator and educator with a deep understanding of adult learning principles and a commitment to fostering sustainable growth within the Mpumalanga community.

• Assess the training needs of partner organizations and community groups.
• Design and develop engaging training curricula and materials.
• Deliver interactive workshops and training sessions on various topics (e.g., leadership, financial management, project planning).
• Provide post-training support and follow-up to reinforce learning.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.
• Foster a collaborative learning environment and encourage knowledge sharing among participants.

• Proven experience as a trainer, facilitator, or capacity building specialist.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and participatory training methodologies.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Ability to develop training materials and curricula.
• Experience working with community-based organizations or NGOs.
• Familiarity with the local context and challenges in Nelspruit and surrounding areas.
