About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Education Specialist to join their team in Nelspruit . This role will involve developing and implementing innovative educational programs for young children, focusing on holistic development and play-based learning. You will work closely with educators, parents, and administrators to ensure a high standard of early learning experiences, incorporating both center-based activities and remote support resources.
The ideal candidate is passionate about child development, possesses strong knowledge of early learning frameworks, and is adept at creating nurturing and stimulating environments that prepare children for future academic success, contributing to a foundation of lifelong learning.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate curriculum and learning activities for early childhood education programs.
- Provide guidance and support to educators on best practices in early childhood pedagogy and child development.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of young children.
- Conduct observations and assessments of children's development, providing feedback to parents and staff.
- Collaborate with parents and families to foster strong home-school partnerships and support children's learning journey.
- Stay current with research and best practices in early childhood education and incorporate them into program planning.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working directly with young children in an educational setting.
- In-depth knowledge of early learning frameworks (e.g., EYFS, Reggio Emilia) and child development theories.
- Strong understanding of child safety protocols and health regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a passion for working with children and families.
