About the Role
Our client is looking for a nurturing and energetic Early Childhood Educator to join their preschool program in Nelspruit . You will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. This role involves planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, managing classroom dynamics, and communicating effectively with parents regarding their child's progress.
The ideal candidate is passionate about early learning and dedicated to providing a supportive and enriching experience for every child, contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture within the Mpumalanga region.
- Plan and implement creative and educational activities aligned with the early learning curriculum.
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, learning, and social interaction.
- Observe and document children's progress, development, and behavior, providing feedback to parents.
- Manage classroom routines and transitions effectively.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support overall centre goals.
- Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Development (ECD) or a related field.
- Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or nursery setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to create engaging and stimulating learning experiences.
- First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
