Instructional Designer - Corporate Training

About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and experienced Instructional Designer to develop engaging corporate training programs for their team in Nelspruit . This role is crucial in designing and developing learning solutions that meet business objectives and enhance employee performance. You will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to translate complex information into effective and accessible training materials, including e-learning modules, workshops, and blended learning experiences.

• Design and develop engaging and effective learning materials for various delivery methods, including e-learning, instructor-led training, and blended formats.
• Collaborate with SMEs to identify learning needs, performance gaps, and develop appropriate training solutions.
• Create storyboards, scripts, assessments, and other learning content required for course development.
• Utilize adult learning principles and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to ensure learning effectiveness.
• Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of training programs, making recommendations for improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in designing and developing corporate training programs.
• Proficiency with e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and multimedia software.
• Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies.
• Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
